Taj Mahal,the name that evokes awe,romance,love all over the world.It was among the seven wonders of the world but anyone who has seen the Taj Mahal,will vouch for the fact that it is just incomparable.

I have met many who come from abroad,complain of bad food in the flight,have harrowing experience with the touts in Delhi,are full of sweat in heat of Agra but as soon as they get a glimpse of tht Taj,they forget all their travails and just begin to admire the beauty of Taj.A moon-lit Taj is a feast to eyes and a moment to savour for the viewer.

In recent past,whoever visited Taj fell in love with it-wheather it was Bill Clinton or the French president, Nicholas Sarkozy.A great poet once remarked-one who has not seen Taj ,has not seen anything.Another one says- there are two type of people in the world,those who have seen Taj and those who have not seen Taj.I dont think anybody on earth would like to die without seeing Taj.

Taj Mahal,the monument of love,was built in the 17th century by Mughal emperor,Shah Jehan,in the memory of his beloved wife,Mumtaz Mahal.The whole monument is carved in white marble as a dome-shaped structure flanked by minarets.Thousands of workers worked for years on it and it is said that their hands were later cut-off to prevent them from making any such monument in future.It is situated on the banks of river Yamuna in the ancient city of Agra.Millions of tourists from around the world every year come to Agra to witness this tremendous piece of architecture which has many fables built around it.

The real beauty of Taj is admired only when you fall in love and visit the place along with your other half.What if you cannot build such a monument for your love,you can always show it to your love.
